LEARN TO CREATE.

I'm offering small, relaxed Creative Classes from my new studio!!

These aren't your standard "follow the pattern and sew" classes.

We'll learn the basics of sewing and machine use while learning how to create, design, repurpose and problem-solve.

You might start with an old blanket, T-shirt, dressing gown or something found at an op shop...
..and turn it into something completely new. 💚

WHAT WILL WE DO?

• Learn basic sewing machine skills
• Learn basic hand sewing
• Learn how to make and use simple patterns
• Learn how to measure, cut and construct
• Learn to repurpose preloved fabrics
• Discover how to adapt ideas and solve problems
• Build confidence to keep creating at home

YOUR CREATION, YOUR WAY

Choose from a small selection of beginner-friendly creations such as:

🧵 Skirts, shorts or simple pants
🧸 Two-piece soft toys
🛍️ Shopping bags
🛏️ Pillows & cushions

Projects will be suited to your age, experience and confidence level.

And the best part?

YOU KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE!

You may complete 1–3 creations over the six weeks, depending on the project and your skill level.

THE PLAN
Ages 10–18Weekday evening classes1.5 hours per lesson Maximum 4 students per group$30 per lesson ($180 for the course)Six-week courseSewing machines & basic equipment suppliedStudents bring suitable fabric/materials to repurpose2 groups Wednesday and Thursday if I can fill all 8 slots. I'll encourage you to look at op shops, your own cupboards and things that might otherwise be thrown away.

Because creativity isn't always about buying something new.

Sometimes it's about looking at something old and seeing what it could become.
