Tréology Tréology – [tree-ol-uh-jee] n. we rescue trees from rivers and turn them into sustainable luxury furniture. Learn more at www.treology.co.nz

At Tréology, we don’t design our pieces, nature does that for us. We simply appreciate the natural form of timber and craft each into a contemporary piece, to be treasured now, and forever. Tréology only uses genuinely sustainable timber, often naturally felled and submerged in the mystic depths of New Zealand’s lakes, fiords and rivers. Artisan craftsmen then shape it into beautifully fashioned, bespoke furniture, which will live on through the generations.

Tréology | 40,000 Years in the making

Our Drum coffee table, quietly at home in this beautifully considered New York interior.

Crafted from rare ancient New Zealand kauri, preserved for over 40,000 years, this piece carries a story of time, nature, and craftsmanship from Aotearoa.

We love seeing its sculptural form sitting so naturally within a space layered with calm tones, soft texture, and thoughtful materiality.

Thank you to the talented for including Tréology in this project.

Designed and crafted in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

As Milan Design Week approaches, we find ourselves returning to what matters most.

Materiality. Warmth. Tactility. Permanence.

These are not passing ideas to us. They sit at the heart of how we think about furniture at Tréology - through honest materials, considered form, and pieces designed to endure.

From Aotearoa, with a distinctly New Zealand story.
