We make high quality, durable furniture using locally sourced materials, right here in Bromley, Christchurch. A bit about us:
Run by a daughter and father duo - Kirstie and Andrew, Ruru is a family-owned business of dedicated craftspeople. Each of our team members has their own unique expertise and we all come together to create sturdy and stylish products - right here in our factory in Bromley. O

ur team has been making furniture for over 40 years. We know what makes a good couch
(it’s all in the materials and the manufacturing!). We’re always happy to have a chat, answer
any questions and work hard to make sure each of our customers walks away satisfied. We are all about quality over quantity and fostering a culture of care and wellbeing within our factory. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and we are proud of our heritage. To us, details matter. Longevity matters. Comfort matters. Our mission:
To provide our customers with furniture they need now, and to have it last for decades. To make couches sustainably by using New Zealand wood from regenerating forests, utilising our off-cuts where we can, and re-upholstering old couches to give them another life. And to have fun doing it!
