A level of physical fitness is needed as the role requires lifting items
The main focus of this role is to deliver quality goods to our customers, efficiently and safely and would best suit someone that is flexible and has a knowledge of the Auckland areas.
As an important part of the team, our Delivery Drivers are hardworking, reliable and energetic with a passion for providing great quality customer service.
Skills and experience
Immediate start available for the right candidate
The main duties of this role are:
Offer courteous and friendly customer service at all times
Pick, pack and load orders for deliveries
Undertake multi-drop off deliveries to our customer base
Ensure our deliveries are received on time, in good condition
Complete all delivery related paperwork
Complete vehicle safety checklists
Maintaining the cleanliness of delivery vehicle
General warehousing duties, assisting with goods inwards and outwards
Assist with loading and uploading of trucks
General housekeeping
As you will be the face of our company a positive and professional manner is essential to compliment your excellent customer service skills.
You hold a full driver license with Class 1
You love driving and have a good knowledge of the Auckland area.
You are comfortable and confident driver
Self-motivated with a professional and courteous manner
You have strong time management and communication skills
You are physically FIT and healthy as heavy lifting is involved
You enjoy working as part of a team
You have a great sense of humour and are looking for your new 'work family'.
Prior experience would be great but not necessary as extensive training will be given on the job.
