our handcrafted products are unique there is no copy in the world as mother nature makes the pattern It is a very good feeling to sit on a solid wood swamp kauri table a beautiful piece of wood what is not taken out of the rain forest but has been growing around 43.000 years ago this ancient kauri wood has been excavated out of the swamp where it has been preserved not only by the lack of oxyge

n but the very high concentration of gum ( what is a fossilized resin ) this fossilized kauri wood is not petrified and therefore the oldest workable wood in the world ,this kauri ( Agathis australis )is endemic to New Zealand and therefore unique .
