A couple of before and after pics of the spool wall on this hard working reel.
Attention to detail even when no one will see it..

Another Tanacom saved from going to landfill.
This reel was pulled out of the rod holder on a beach.
There wasn't as much sand as I've seen in others but enough to completely seize it.
2 x nylon idle gears replaced, level wind pawl replaced and ready for Spooling👍

Gear maintenance and cleaning..
There's no substitute for cleaning your gear after a mission. I was only on the beach for a few hours but that sand and salt will remain in the gear if not cleaned.
