🎉 Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉

I can't believe January is already coming to a close, but 2024 has been nothing short of amazing so far! 🌟 The energy is so expansive, and I've found myself reflecting on the path ahead. 🛤️

Lately, I've been spending a lot of time in the kitchen, rediscovering my love for cooking and baking. 🍳🍰 It's like falling in love with an old passion all over again! 💖 The culinary journey has taken me to unexpected places, and I'm embracing the change it's brought into my life.

As for the prospect of returning to catering, the answer remains a resounding "not yet." Life has a funny way of leading us down different paths, and I'm excited to see where this one takes me. 🌈

Living in Picton has been an absolute delight – the water, the surroundings, and the sense of space and time. 🌊⛰️ I've developed a deep love for this place, and it's become a haven for inspiration and tranquility.

✨ Back from Down Under! 🌏✈️

Hey there, my beautiful friends and fellow soul seekers! 🌺☀️

I just touched down after an incredible holiday in the land Down Under, Australia! 🇦🇺✨ It's been a journey I've been looking forward to for so long, and it truly filled my heart with joy and rejuvenation. 🌅💖

Before the world turned upside down with COVID, I had this grand plan to embark on a magical 2-week retreat in Hawaii with my amazing priestess sisters and the wonderful Beautiful You Coaching community where I've completed the course. 🌺🏝️ But alas, fate had other plans, and the boarders shut down to America. 🌐🚫

However, as they say, when one door closes, another one opens! 🚪✨ We decided to make the most of the holidays and embarked on a different kind of adventure, one that brought us closer together as a family. 🥰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Our journey through Australia was nothing short of soul-fulfilling. We explored stunning landscapes, connected with nature, and had the privilege of witnessing some of the world's most incredible wildlife. 🐨🦘 The memories we made will forever be etched in our hearts, and it was exactly the recharge our spirits needed. 🌄🌿

Thank you, Australia, for welcoming us with open arms and showing us the beauty of your land and people. 🙏❤️

Now, as I settle back into my everyday routine, I carry these precious moments with me and look forward to the future adventures that await. 🌟✈️

🌊 Revealing a Little Secret 🎣

I wanted to share a little piece of me that you might not know. 🤫 One of my absolute passions in life is my deep love for the water. 🌊 Fishing, in particular, holds a special place in my heart, and it's my ultimate happy place. 🎣✨

Throughout my life, I've always been drawn to the water's edge. Whether I'm living by a lake, river, or ocean, there's a magnetic pull that I just can't resist. 🌅 It's where I feel the most connected, the most cleansed, and the most in tune with my soul. 🌌💫

That's one of the reasons why my family and I decided to make Picton our home. 🏡🌄 Here, we're surrounded by the water's embrace, and it's incredible how my family shares the same appreciation for its beauty and tranquility as I do. 🌟

Hello, lovely people! 🌟

It's been over a year, and I thought it was about time I touched base with all of you. As some of you may know, my family and I embarked on a much-needed lifestyle change, and this journey was set into motion during the challenging times of the COVID period. It was during this period that I made a conscious decision to honor myself more deeply and step into the process of transforming all aspects of my life that were no longer in alignment.

One significant step in this transformation was letting go of my business, Miss Lilly's. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was necessary for my personal growth and the well-being of my family. 🌸

Now, I find myself residing in the beautiful town of Picton, a place that truly embodies the lifestyle change we were seeking. I work full time from the comfort of my home, while my hubby has embraced part-time work. We made a choice to become more accessible parents, prioritizing what each of us needed individually and as a family unit. It's been a profound shift, and it has allowed us to connect more deeply with one another.

One of the most delightful changes this new chapter has brought is my renewed passion for cooking for my family. I've fallen in love with it all over again, and it's become a cherished part of our daily life. 🍳

I've decided to use this platform as a lifestyle blog to share this incredible journey with all of you. While there might come a day in the future when I return to catering, that's not in the cards at the moment. Right now, I'm relishing in the joy of this lifestyle transformation and the simple pleasures it brings.

A call for greater action

I believe in the power of humanity to rise, and lead when all obstacles are put in the way.

I have been speaking to Zeb Jackson, about the recovery effort that she is doing and what is needed, and what support WE can offer her and the communities from a distance or in person.

What is needed at present, Is manpower on the ground - To help shift the mud, Heavy Machinery - Diggers, and earth moving equipment
And Fuel to operate this.... there is a bank account at the bottom of her post.

It's come time to chat about putea. I'm currently organising diggers and excavators who are heading to the Hawkes Bay area to assist with all the clean up work that needs to be done. Unfortunately this heavy machinery does not run on fresh air so if you can afford to contribute a small amount to their fuel, it would be much appreciated.

THE time has come..............
Today as I write this post I am full with a heavy heart, and also Joy.

Many of you know that we have as a catering company through a challenging two years, and over those two years we as a family have really been able to value and take a hard look at what is important to us at a deeper level,

We have served the North Canterbury community for the past 10 plus years, starting off as a food caravan and birthing into a full catering company.

I still remember the day coming home, and saying to Nugget I want to build a food caravan and call it Miss Lillys.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think SHE would take us on the adventures WE have had.

We are deeply grateful for being a BIG part of your celebrations, over the past 10 years and inviting the US into your home or business to serve you.
