RDI2CluB presenterer sine fem regionale piloter utviklet gjennom transnasjonal dialog og samarbeid for å styrke bioøkonomien i Norge, Finland, Latvia og Polen!
-project : A Report on Regional Pilot Cases for Developing the Bioeconomy Innovation Ecosystem and Solutions around the Baltic Sea Region 🤩🎖
For three years, since the launch of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region program’s co-funded project “Rural RDI milieus in transition towards smart clusters and innovation ecosystem” (RDI2CluB), the partner regions from Finland 🇫🇮, Estonia 🇪🇪, Latvia 🇱🇻, Norway 🇳🇴 and Poland 🇵🇱 have been building a network of stakeholders – researchers, entrepreneurs, business developers, policy and decision makers –and a set of innovative tools and methods to reinvigorate rural areas and nurture their economies while contributing to a more sustainable future for all.
This report showcases five solutions (Regional Pilot Cases) developed in and tested as result of dialogue and co-creation among the bioeconomy regions of Central Finland, Inland Region in Norway, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland, Vidzeme Region in Latvia and Estonia.

2. Waakku – a mobile application for connecting rural entrepreneurs with services and workforce
3. Promoting biomass heating to improve air quality and living standards for residents in spa towns in Poland
4. Using advanced technology and knowledge sharing to promote high-value organic farming in Latvia
5. Development of an international, multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral network for the sustainable management of wildlife populations in the Northern Hemisphere.
