🇳🇱 Holy Trinity

Amsterdam Yacht Service is currently completing an extensive refit of Trinity, a 16m Amel Super Maramu ketch. The project spans a full technical refresh, generator, main engine, shaft and rudder, alongside new paintwork, an environmentally friendly silicon-based antifouling coating, and a custom-designed aluminium sprayhood developed using 3D scanning technology.

The interior is also being transformed, moving away from the classic 1990s mahogany aesthetic towards a lighter, more contemporary feel, with a redesigned galley, new countertops and modernised furnishings.

A standout moment in the project came when the owner used AI-generated visuals to communicate her design vision to the team, an approach that has since been adopted across multiple AYS projects as a fast and effective client collaboration tool. A perfect example of craftsmanship, engineering and innovation working hand in hand.

Relaunch planned ahead of the summer season.

🇳🇱 Last year, we welcomed the 55-metre Kahalani to the Amsterdam Yacht Service yard for her five-year survey — a great example of the breadth of work our team handles day to day.

Alongside the mandatory survey, the project included extensive teak deck repairs, a low-key interior refit, domestic appliance servicing, and a range of smaller works — all completed with the yacht in the water. A returning project manager, familiar with what AYS can deliver, trusted us to coordinate the full scope efficiently and get Kahalani ready in time for the summer season.
