Happy Easter to all who celebrate. It's one of the most beautiful spring holidays celebrating renewal and new beginings.

Our Amsterdam team of two will be celebrating next Monday, when Eastern Orthodox Christians celebrate Easter (most of the Balkan nations, too.).

Catolic and Orthodox Easter are mostly celebrated 1 or 2 weeks apart. But some years it coincides on the same date.

We’re currently operating at a slightly reduced capacity over the next few weeks due to recovering from surgery (all is well). We are still fulfilling all your orders & our website remains open.

Lubo is working extra hard to keep the shop running smoothly while I am getting back into shape. ❤️

💌 Orders and responses may take a little longer than usual & we are temporarily not able to accept servicing, rental or custom requests until 10 May.

We love working with classic Olivetti typewriters.

They never go out of fashion.

They are always easy to repair and maintain, unlike their cases which are often in poor condition and need extra love to revive.

In the end, all of the hard work is worth it when you see how the typewriter cleans up and gets a new life.

We worked hard on this 1929 Corona Special to get the characters and letters aligned.

For this, we used an S6 typebar bender from AMES catalog. We worked on each character to align it as best as possible. The typebars on Corona are very soft and easily pliable.

Elegant and timeless 1910s Corona Special in beautiful blue pattern.

110 years old but still like new.

We fitted new rubber (incl. new platen). Shiny chrome bars, levers and metal spools.

Just a lovely companion.
