A tree dated back to the end of the 19th century has lived through a lot!

This linden tree was harvested 5 years ago due to sickness
from Warmond,Zuid Holland.

Today Purely Handmade presents, form the hands of our talented craftsmen, the linden tree in all its glory; celebrating its life and the art of traditional woodworking on one remarkable piece of art.

The Royal Blood.

Four days ago, those two royalties met each other.

Queen Maxima of The Netherlands visited Stichting Repair Café Teylingen
as a result of winning the prize Appeltjes Van Oranje.

Out of coincidence, i was just finishing working on a gigantic oak table of 220 years old! The tree was hervested 2 years ago from Loersfeld Castle in Germany.

I was more than honoured to donate this table to the Jojo for this occasion and build some good memories together with Queen Maxima, Carla G.J. Breuer , Lisa de Blok , the volunteers, all the people from Oranje Fonds, and the talented camera crews.

I was more than happy to hear from Queen Maxima how important is for her, as my company's main focus is creating one-of-a-kind, designs.

This dramatic crack can now be normaly used. Of course you have to collect the food that goes through from the floor, but at least you know your table is 100% plastic and toxic free.
