Capsule is the winner of the German Design Award 2020 in the "Excellent Product Design" category for "Office Furniture". Casala and designer Kateryna Sokolova are particularly proud that the jury of the German Design Council has awarded the title of "Winner" to Capsule. By winning this award, Casala underlines its role as a producer of stylish project furniture that excels in design and functionality.

The various elements of Gabo Modular work together to link spaces or to divide them into multiple sections. This modular system is made up of straight, curved and corner seats and wall elements in various sizes. In addition, there are various table elements with integrated LED lighting and storage space. Design Post Amsterdam held their annual architect talk. This time we combined forces with Frame and asked Robert Thiemann to host the evening in the DPA showroom in Amsterdam. The subject was 'Share or Subscribe, product and space in a post-ownership era'.

It was an evening full op inspiring topics and speakers like Bas van de Poel from SPACE10, Kelsea Crawford & Antonin Yuji Maeno from Cutwork, Alice Haugh from UNStudio and Ramon Beijen from CBRE .

Our upcoming DPA Talk will be on the 21st of November in the DPA Showroom. We will keep you posted!

Casala recently opened the completely renovated showroom in Lauenau (Germany) with a big celebration. The huge amount of guests were able to see the beautifully presented collection and listen to the interesting presentation of the renowned RIBA architect Martin Murphy of Architekturbüro Störmer Murphy and Partners from Hamburg.
