What is MDF board?
Meaning medium density fibre. It's an engineered wood products made from soft/hard wood residual into wood fibre. It's of two main types, laminated and plain. For plain you can finished to any colour of your choice or you apply veneer on it. It's stronger and more denser than particle boards.
MDF can be use for wardrobe, bed, cabinet, entertainment set etc.
There are different types of MDF and are sometimes label by colour. Green is moisture resistant and red or blue is fire retardant.
WARNING
Low grade MDF may swell and break when saturated in water, it may warp and expand in humid environment if not sealed and it releases formaldehyde when cutting and sanding. Use nose cover when you are working with MDF or in that environment.
