2024 PLAYER'S CONGRESS TO HOST TRUSTFUND AND NHIA OFFICIALS
The Nigeria Players Union, National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers, NANPF has extended invitations to the Trustfund and the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Managements to attend the upcoming Players Conference scheduled to hold on August 1 2024, in Akure, Ondo State, in furtherance of ongoing partnership plans which was kick started during the NWFL and NPFL Mid-Season Clubs Captains Seminars on the 20th and 27th of January 2024, in Benin, Edo State, organised by NANPF, with the Trustfund to provide and drive the proposed Footballers Contributory Pension Scheme, while the NHIA will provide vital and useful tips on the provision of Health Insurance for members (players) of the union.
The invitation is to enable the union deepen discussion with both institutions on the subject matter and also use the Congress as a most veritable platform to educate and enlighten potential beneficiaries of the workability and benefits of both the Pension and Health insurance.
Arrangements are put in place to allow a greater number of players apart from the clubs captains (delegates) that will be physically present in the Congress to benefit from the knowledge shared, during the Seminar, Pension and Health Insurance sessions, which shall be streamed live on Facebook via a Link that shall be shared with all players in the leagues through the established NANPF Clubs Units wasap platforms
We therefore call on all players to prepare themselves and join in the conversation through the Link that will be provided before the commencement of the Congress
