THE LABOUR PARTY AMAOJI HUB GENERAL MEETING
Held on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026
Venue: Randu Hotel
The meeting was held and anchored by Amb. Gladday Nwokocha, with all Polling Unit heads, stakeholders, and structural leaders in attendance. They came with their members in large numbers. We all discussed the way forward to take over Amaoji, achieve a massive turnout for the Labour Party, and strengthen unity among us.
Special Guest:
Hon. Izuchukwu, Councillor representing Ward 4, graced the meeting as a special guest. He appreciated the gathering and supported our women with a donation of ₦20,000. There was also heavy entertainment for all attendees.
Many people raised concerns over a few unity and structural leaders who had taken party membership for granted. They said they had been waiting for a day like this to lay out their views so that some problems could be corrected.
The leader, Amb. Gladday Nwokocha, addressed everyone and assured them of a total transformation across the units, stakeholders’ structures, and structural leadership before September. He addressed the crowd of over 182 members who attended today’s meeting.
The meeting also served as an avenue to welcome new members. The PVN Structure - People’s Voice Network, led by Comr. Engr. Rufus Okechukwu Sunday (CEO, EMBASSY GLOBAL ), and over 64 members who defected from the Accord Party to Labour Party were formally received. The general house embraced and welcomed them. Our leader assured them of total support and promised to carry them along as long as they remain committed to the Labour Party. He also promised to visit and welcome our political leaders as soon as possible.
There is video and photographic evidence of the outcome of today’s meeting. Mrs. Ebere Amanahu thanked our leader for organizing the voters’ card registration exercise, which members had long expected. The women among us rejoiced when tokens were shared among them.
Resolutions:
The house unanimously resolved to vote and mobilize for the second term of:
1. Gov. Alex Otti
2. Sen. Darlington Nwokocha Mandate
3. Hon. Ginger Obinna Onwusibe
4. Hon. Ochake
It was a meeting of inclusion, held to ensure that everyone was carried along. Our leader and other unit heads were impressed and also addressed the gathering. There was joy among all who attended the meeting today.
CEO Cares also thanked everyone who helped spread the voter registration news, as we were able to register 126 new voters.
In summary: Chief Okenze Izuwa expressed his gladness, thanked everyone, and moved a vote of thanks to the general house.
Amb. Gladday Nwokocha thanked everyone and promised to correct every complaint within us and move forward. He said we should expect this meeting to hold again at the end of June or in the first week of July.
Signed,
