Our Story

Cut&Barber is a barbershop that stretch across Klang Valley, located in Bandar Sri Permaisuri (KL), Cheras Traders Square and Damansara Uptown, operating daily from 1pm - 1am.

It was previously located in Dataran Usahawan 1 Azam uptown and moved to its current location since October 2018.

Who knows a simple haircut has never been this inconvenient for many retail or full day workers as they have long working hours. It is until Cut&Barber’s founder, Jiro Yap and co-founder, Mike Leong came up with this unusual business hours and a carefully executed business plan that suits those needs.

Jiro started the business with a customised mobile barber station at a mamak stall back in 2017. The idea first came from his realisation of how some people are physically challenged or are restricted from their working hours to get a haircut from those 10am-10pm salons or barbershops. So, he also started the trend of house-call barber services for senior citizens and gained a good reputation from the neighbourhood and the local press due to his heart-warming gestures. His determination and barber skills have gained many followers and recommendations. Not long after, Cut&Barber is established in 2017.
