The processing into convenient size board has enable value for the timber mill, kiln drier, and trader
The rise of port closer to the country town has added stability to the economic value of acacia
It has cut down logistic cost for the whole of the acacia product range
It means the acacia in Vietnam has value for the whole range of downstream processes
down to the chips at the last stage
Can this acasia model be suitable for other countries?
Very unlikely
Vietnam is ideal for this at the moment
Others can plant of course
But the crunch is whether there are multiple cycle of planting and usage to generate positive economic benefits
