Salina Collection

Rooted in the aquatic world, the collection draws from shells, skeletal structures, and marine morphologies, approached through abstraction.
My approach to each body of work combines organic references with a constant dialogue between craft and process, balance and tension, where the sculptural meets the functional.
This marks a new chapter, introducing my first sculptural furniture pieces after a few years of focusing on lighting.

Salina Table Lamp and Salina Coffee Table

A contrast of materials defines both pieces, where cast bronze structures inhabit translucent fiberglass shells, suggesting organisms contained within their own protective forms. The dialogue between weight and lightness, structure and surface, gives each piece a quiet tension and a distinct sculptural identity.

Salina Collection

An exploration of the formal language of marine organisms, drawing from the morphology of shells, skeletal structures, and organic compositions found in the aquatic world.

Fiberglass is used to shape complex, translucent volumes through a process that combines digital fabrication and hand-finishing, while cast bronze elements emerge as structural frameworks, holding and tensioning each piece from within.

Salina Floor Lamp for “Remanencias”

Remanencias is a photographic project directed and curated by Alejandro Ramírez Orozco () that explores the ephemeral relationship between object, architecture, and photography. Bringing together fourteen creators based in Mexico, the pieces are conceived as bodies in dialogue, activated within different architectural spaces and shaped by light, scale, shadow, and texture.

The works were placed across four architectural projects in Mexico, where photography captures their temporary presence and the traces they leave behind.

The exhibition presents both the physical pieces and the photographic series, inviting viewers to reconstruct their journey through different spatial contexts.

Salina Ceiling Lamp & Salina Dining Table

The exploration of fiberglass shells expands into a suspended composition, branching like aquatic flora, where light, shadow, and translucency suggest organisms quietly inhabiting their carapaces. In dialogue, the dining table pushes the material further, pairing a light, translucent fiberglass surface with bronze legs that extend in different directions, evoking an animal body emerging from its protective shell.

Remanencias Exhibition -

Remanencias is the first photography exhibition of my friend , developed in collaboration with four group of architects and fourteen designers working across Mexico. This project is the result of a collective effort by incredibly talented creatives.

My piece Salina Floor Lamp is part of the selected works.

The exhibition will remain open until February 27th, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
