This is one of those pieces that stops you in your tracks. A stunning rosewood extendable dining table, now fully restored and available for a new home here in Malta.

Rosewood is one of the great woods of mid-century Danish furniture — dense, richly grained, and utterly timeless. Under years of wear and fading, this table was hiding something extraordinary. We brought it back with a high-gloss finish that does full justice to the grain, drawing out the warm amber and deep chocolate tones that make rosewood so distinctive and so sought-after.

What makes this piece truly special is its versatility. In its compact form it seats a comfortable four to six — elegant for everyday living. Open both extending flaps and it seats eight to ten with ease, making it the perfect centerpiece for long dinners, family gatherings, and everything in between. The extension mechanism is smooth, original, and working beautifully.

This is not a reproduction. This is the real thing — a genuine piece of 1960s craftsmanship, restored to be lived with and loved for another generation.

We recently sourced and restored a beautiful collection of mid-century desks, each one imported directly from Denmark. This piece is a classic G Plan Librenza sideboard, a standout example of British mid-century modern design from the 1950s and 1960s.

Designed by the British manufacturer E. Gomme as part of their "Tola and Black" or "Librenza" range, it typically features Tola wood (often referred to as African mahogany) with a rich grain. It is most recognizable by its distinct brass-toned handles and the gold-finished "brass-fitted" hardware on its tapered legs. This model includes three central drawers and two side cupboards, offering a blend of functional storage and sleek aesthetic appeal.
