Job description and requirements for Carpenter
En Vie Furniture is looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing workshop team specializing in internal doors and custom carpentry works.
The ideal candidate must have experience working within a carpentry workshop environment and be confident in handling measurements, machinery, and finishing processes with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, assemble, and prepare internal doors and related carpentry products according to company standards and client specifications
- Take accurate site and workshop measurements to ensure precise production and installation
- Operate and maintain workshop machinery including CNC machines, edge banders, cutting machines, and other carpentry equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and production requirements
- Carry out professional on-site installations of doors, frames, and related accessories when required - Ensure all works are completed with high attention to detail, finishing quality, and workmanship standards
- Work closely with the workshop and installation team to meet project deadlines and maintain productivity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within both the workshop and installation sites
Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpentry or furniture manufacturing
- Ability to use CNC and edge banding machinery
- Good understanding of technical measurements and workshop drawings
- Valid driving licence
- Ability to carry out installations on site
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
