The Hotel Eravati ယခင်က Stewart အချုပ်ထောင်ကြီးရဲ့ဘေးက colonial building ကြီးမှာ။ ညနေရုံးဆင်းပြီးချိန် ပန်းဆိုးတန်းလမ်းပေါ်က Forever computer သင်တန်းတက်ဖို့ ရုံးနားက ဘန်လမ်း ဘေးလက်ဖက်ရည်ဆိုင်လေးမှာစောင့်ရင်းစမူဆာသုတ်စားခဲ့တာလည်းဒီစားပွဲလေးတွေပေါ်မှာပဲ။
အဲ့ဒီနားကအစိုးရရုံးတွေ၊ဘဏ်တွေ အများကြီးရှိခဲ့တဲ့အမှတ်တရနဲ့ စားပွဲလေးတွေကို Government Green အရောင်သုတ်ထားတယ်။ မျက်နှာပြင်ကတော့အလွန်လှတဲ့ မြန်မာ့ကျွန်းကွက်တွေကို heightlight လုပ်ထားတယ်။

When people mention "Yangon Heritage," most immediately picture the grand, towering colonial-era buildings.
However, I believe these roadside tea shop tables are just as iconic—an essential "low-profile vibe" heritage of Yangon’s social fabric.
My old office at PeaceHouse Travel was located in a colonial building right next to the historic Stewart Building (the former jail/police headquarters, now The Hotel Eravati). I have vivid memories of finishing work and heading to the roadside tea shop on Bank Street to grab a plate of Samuza Thoke while waiting for my computer classes at Forever on Pansodan Road.
It was on these very tables that those moments happened.
In honor of the many government offices and banks that once defined that neighborhood, I’ve painted these tables in "Government Green." For the tabletops, I’ve highlighted the stunning natural grain of Burmese Teak.
