Until 1994, when the Mandalay Directory (MD) was first published, there were no classified listings of businesses operating in Myanmar.MMRD responded to this need and was met with gratitude when 2,000 people queued up to receive a copy on the MD’s first day of publication. Since then MMRD has become the official directory publisher commissioned by the Mandalay City Development Committee.
In 2012 www.mandalaydirectory.com was launched as the first online classified directory for Myanmar.
In 2013 the Mandalay Directory was named the official directory of the 27th South East Asian (SEA) Games along with its counterparts, the Mandalay Directory, Myanmar Business Directory ( Upper and Lower ).
In 2014 the Yangon Directory App was launched, providing consumers with access to the classified database of Yangon businesses through the mobile phone.
In 2015 the Mandalay Directory App was launched providing consumers with the classified database of Mandalay businesses through the mobile phone.
In 2016, we have launched iOS Application to use easier for users on iOS Platform.
In 2017, we started real facebook results to take care our customers and to get better knowledge of the customers’ needs.
Throughout 2014-2017, we got 1.3M active users who can use their unique ID to fill their information in our website.
In 2018, we got 1.8M active users and 1,873,560 website pageview. We printed out Mandalay Directory Book for 22nd time and throughout 1996-2017 we got 824,000 total printed book.
