Sharing a few snapshots from a recently completed renovation project in the heart of Colombo.

This was a full-scale transformation of a much-loved family home that had stood strong for over 30 years. It was time for a fresh start—an upgrade that honoured the past while embracing the future.

We opted for a modern, minimalistic aesthetic with a timeless black-and-white palette, enhanced by accent tones in calming shades of blue and teal. Our mission: to breathe new life into the space within a tight 4-month timeline. It was certainly a challenge—but made possible thanks to an incredible team effort.

A heartfelt thank you to my main contractor, Design & Construction, and to our main furniture partners Creations and New City Furnitech Sri Lanka, whose craftsmanship brought the vision to life.
It was a breeze to work with this team, as well as the lovely owner of this gorgeous home, who entrusted me with a free hand once the specifics were discussed and agreed on.

Interior transformations are one of my favourite projects, and this refurbishment of 2 seaside apartments in a simplistic coastal theme with whitewashed furniture in the common areas and white painted furniture in the bedrooms were a real challange as the time available for the renovation was just 6 days.
With an immense team effort and support from all the suppliers and specially my family and friends we rose to the challange and succeeded in meeting the deadline. Await more detailed photographs....

Sharing an image from an ongoing commercial interior upgrade.As always using greenery and foliage has always been a trademark of my interiors and when I am unable to do so due to various reasons be it lack of natural light or the location I decided to bring in a talented young artist to create a wall mural to depict an indoor garden. As you see from the images below, I think I achieved my goal successfully :)
