• Details about the apartment:
It’s located in front of the sea, on the main cornice of Sour, near all restaurants, shops, coffee shop, pharmacy etc. Its 10minutes walking from both beaches (Jamal , the rocky beach and Rhyam the sand beach). The apartment is on the 4th floor, on the right. The elevator doesn’t work much due to the electricity cut, so don’t count on it =) But in the house, we have
5amps generator! In case you're not familiar with the lebanese electricity issue: The gouvernement isn't providing enough electricity, so each town gets a different amount of hours of national electricity. Sour, gets way less hours than Beirut per day, around 3 to 6hours, and that's when we're lucky. The rest of the time, we are using private generators, so there's almost always electricity in the house, but given the current situation in Lebanon, this can't be guaranteed =)
There are 4 bedrooms, two of them with a double bed, one with 1 to three single beds, and one with 3 to 5 beds. Each room has a big fan and a smaller fan available, and space for your belongings (night stand, or closet, or drawer). Each room has it's own key.
2 bathrooms, both with toilet and shower, that are shared among guests. An American kitchen (meaning its open to the living room with a kind of bar), fully equipped with : fridge/freezer, oven and hub, microwave, boiler, toaster, blender, and sandwich maker. The living room has couches and a tv with dvd player, Sound system to plug your music, and CD reader too, books and other stuff to read (in french, english and arabic). Dining table and chairs as well. Games (Uno, cards, monopoly etc, mostly in french and english)
And finally there’s a nice terrace with a beautiful view on the sea and the old romans ruins, with tables, umbrella and chairs. It’s really easy to order food, as the building is easy to be found (Building Hashem, near hotel Murex, where’s the shop coccinelle, up on the 4th floor) and we left you a basket with menus and adress infos (in arabic with latin letters, so you can read it easily to whoever you order from ;))
* You should bring your own bed sheets and towels. We provide pillows and blankets but you should bring covers for them as well. The house isn't a bed & breakfast, nor a hotel, so please bring your own drinks/ food/ shampoo etc. (not pillows:)). Some tea and coffee are available at home next to the hub, help yourself with that:) If you cannot bring your own bed-sheets and towel, we can provide them upon request for an extra 10$.
*No smoke in the house please, on the terrace it’s totally cool, and please empty your ashtray after use.
*Don't throw toilet paper in the WC, use the trash. This is Lebanon ;) the tubes aren't made for that!
* Close the gas after every use, and clean the oven/hub
*Don't leave the hot water on more than 30 mins & don't forget useless lights on please, we care a lot about mother earth =)
*Replace any damage or broken items, & let us know about it
*Thanks for not throwing anything from the balcony!!! There's ashtray available next to the kitchen sink, and trash bags too=)
* When you go out, please make sure to close well the door
*Leave the apartment clean! Do your bedroom & bathroom (a special attention to the shower and toilet please) , do you own dishes, throw the trashes away,(bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen), and don't forget to close the windows and bedroom doors with the keys.
*Close the principal door with the key
=> Check in at 2pm or after, check out at 11am. We can be flexible upon request, but we ask guests to ask us first if they wish to arrive earlier/ leave later. Dear guests, please keep in mind that payment is to be made upon receiving your keys. Our prices are;
• 25$/night/person, or 20$/night per person if there's more than one person per room. The deposit for up to three nights is 50$/room. Full place, Weekly and monthly prices are available upon request
• It’s important to let me know how many people are coming as you’ll get the keys for the bedroom depending on how many people are coming. (for exemple if you’re two and wanna get a double bed, you’ll get one key for the double room, or if you want the single bed you’ll get the key for the bedroom and will get two single beds inside etc)
• In case of any problem there’s someone who can be contacted directly there, or you can reach Mélodie on WhatsApp
• I can as well inform you about the town (resto, what to visit, etc), I’ll be glad to help
