eklekta is a gallery that sells 20th Century design classics, contemporary Italian furniture, antiques and artworks with an aim to cater for that particular taste for the eclectic, hybrid and elegant. The primary idea is to assort furniture and objects that are not single origin, but that will speak to each other. The city is hybrid, our homes are hybrid, let alone our emotions and tastes! ign classics are crafted by Italian artisans that not only re-edit famous designs such as the lounge chair by Charles Eames, the Tulip table by Saarinen...but also bring to light unpublished projects through archive research. The contemporary furniture is authored by a team of Milan-based designers exclusively for Matrix International, of which eklekta is the sole agent in Lebanon. eklekta is also a venue for events and exhibitions showcasing contemporary artists and initiatives.
