Friday the 28th of June we hosted our first event..Google Digital Skills Training. And here are the certificate of participation awarded to our participants.

We are planning to have these training delivered across the County in all Wards just so we can impact as many youth as possible.

Empower the youth to be leaders in technology fields and to fully leverage technology in support of academic and professional excellence.

By equipping the youth with the resources, training and intellectual network to support their full participation in technology-rich fields and environment, Kababa_Hub will amplify the strength and impact of Siaya County youth engagement, attract top men and women in technology, students and collaborations and entrepreneurial innovations and a serve a national model for increasing the youth’s meaningful engagement with technology especially now with the introduction of the Kenya’s digital economy blueprint.

We envision to create a state of the art, richly equipped technological environment that will serve as a gathering space, ICDL training center and program office.

From this techspace, Kababa_Hub will provide a rich network of opportunities for professional development, online job, freelance writing, research, innovation, startup development, scholarships, mentoring, guidance and counseling, collaborations, bootcamps and outreach.

Kababa_Hub will become a nationally recognized beacon for women and youth techies (beginners and established) and an agent of transformation ensuring the Youth in Siaya and beyond become leaders in technological advancements and innovation.
