“Nililipa fare, akanirudishia change KSh 15. Nikaendelea kusoma Bible. Baadaye akasema wewe hapo unainama unasoma Bible, leta pesa,” preacher Harisson Ng’ang’a share past experience with a matatu tout, explains how he tried to tackle anger.

“Nilimwambia si hii KSh 15 bob ulinirudishia change nilipokulipa? Aliniambia staki wazimu leta pesa. Nilimwambia huwezi kunidharau. Akapiga gari na kuambia devera simamisha. Akushuka nje na kuanza kusema toka! Toka! K**a wewe ni mwanaume, toka. Devera, kuna mtu anataka kupigana. Nikafura.”

“Sasa ninaona siwezi kutoka maana niko na Bible na tie. Of course, ningetoka niwapige wote wawili lakini siwezi kuwapiga kwa sababu nimeokoka. Madam mwenye nilimpatia pesa apee conductor aliniruka. Akasema nisimwingize kwa mambo yangu. Nikasema turudi nitalipa,” Ng’ang’a added.

The preacher said the conductors gave him an extra punishment for paying for the fare before boarding their vehicle in subsequent trips.

Ng'ang'a indicated that God used the incident to shape his character.
