Simidi brings to every project years of experience leading the workshop of one of Kenya’s leading modern furniture brands. He has successfully executed projects for individuals and well-known companies throughout Nairobi. Our capabilities:
- We primarily work in wood, but our projects also include metal, glass, upholstery, weaving, and more.
- We don’t just use the same woods as other fundis -
we source beautiful and sustainable timbers from the Kenyan coast such as mango and neem.
- We offer a range of finishes to suit different tastes, from glossy to satin to matte, lacquer to polyurethane, pickling (whitewash) to stain to paint.
- In addition to modern furniture, we can also do more traditional and rustic styles.
- Most of our furniture is freestanding, but we have also done built-ins for home, office, and hospitality.
