【樹種変更のお知らせ】
これまでブラックチェリーで製作してきた patol stool を、今後は国産材のヤマザクラで製作いたします。

より日本の木材を活かしたものづくりを
進めていきたいという思いから、
今回の変更に至りました。

ブラックチェリーのスタンダード高さ・籐張りの仕様は、
次回出荷分よりヤマザクラとなります。

その他のバリエーションにつきましても、
現在のブラックチェリーの在庫がなくなり次第、
順次ヤマザクラへ変更いたします。

これまでブラックチェリーのpatol stoolを
お選びくださった皆さま、ありがとうございました。

これからは、京都で生まれたpatol stoolを、
国産のヤマザクラでお届けしてまいります。

引き続きどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

【Change of Wood Species】

Until now, patol stool has been made from black cherry.
From now on, we will be making it with Japanese-grown wild cherry (yamazakura).

This change comes from our desire to make greater use of Japanese timber and to further pursue furniture making rooted in the materials and culture of Japan.

The standard-height, rattan-seat version, which has been made in black cherry, will be changed to yamazakura from our next shipment.

For the other variations, we will gradually transition to yamazakura as our existing stock of black cherry is sold out.

We would like to thank everyone who has chosen a black cherry patol stool over the years.

From now on, we look forward to bringing patol stool, born in Kyoto, to you in Japanese-grown yamazakura.

少し前に製作したラワンのI型キッチン。
イベント案内に忙しくてご紹介できていませんでした。
設計士さんのご自宅のキッチンで、
全体のデザインはお施主様です。
逃げの少ないシンプルなデザインを叶えるために
細部の納まりにこだわりました。
ご覧の通り何事もなく納まっているので、大成功です。
お施主様、監督さんにも手伝っていただいて、
80キロのステンレス無垢5mmの天板を三方壁内に
クリアランス少なくきれいに納められたことも
良い思い出です。

【Denmark trip Day.8,9】
・The last two days in Denmark taking photos at
　Kastellet Fortress, the Design Museum, Tivoli
　Gardens, and Rosenborg Castle
・I found the flint that was for sale yesterday.
・They had the most fun here in the museum.
・Given wings
・Off to Tivoli Gardens—the place the kids had been
　looking forward to
・They rode the wooden roller coaster about ten times
・Our only meal out on this trip. It was delicious
・The castle and a chair
・The wind was way too strong
・There wasn’t a washing machine, but I’m glad we
　stayed at this apartment!
・It was our first overseas exhibition and our first time
　traveling abroad with the kids, but thanks to the
　support of everyone at Architectmade, we were able
　to successfully accomplish all our goals for the trip!
　We’ll be back!

【Denmark trip Day.2】
・Our Home for 9 Days
・The living-dining room is right inside the front door.
　The furniture and furnishings are from JYSK (the
　Danish version of IKEA) and IKEA.
・Bedroom. Two people can sleep here, and two more
　can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.
・Kitchen. If you’re going to put such a big refrigerator
　here, please also provide standard-sized frying pan
　and pot.
・Please put a washing machine here instead of the
　four-burner stove and oven.
・The view is amazing.
・A lovely courtyard.
・There’s even a swing.
・A huge cucumber.
・The open-faced sandwich with cucumber and
　cheese is delicious.
・On the second day, we explored the town, focusing
　on thrift stores and home improvement stores.
　Hunting for bargains at thrift stores was one of the
　highlights, but more than anything, I wanted to find a
　pan and a pot first!
・A smørrebrød shop.
・A fish market.
・Kazuhiko is hooked on commercial vehicles.
・Arrived at the first thrift store. I’m excited because
　the chances of finding hidden treasures are higher
　here than at flea markets.
・There was a lot of tableware, so I had high hopes,
　but it was a bust. I saw a Royal Copenhagen plate I
　kind of liked for 350 Kr (8,750 yen). It was small, and
　I didn’t feel like I absolutely had to have it, so I
　passed. And there were no pans or pots either!!
・After had lunch in the park , our sons asked some
　local adults, “Can I join you?” to join their group.
・Just kept walking. I easily exceed 10,000 steps every
　day.
・Home improvement store
・Lots of brass hardware. Bought some toride for my
　next project.
・No good finds here either.
・The last fortress
・They had pans and pots! I also discovered some real
　hidden gems!! ARABIA’s Kilta—5 kr each. That’s 125
　yen!
　The backstamp is worn off, though. Lucky me!! Got 5
　of them. The problem is, if the patru doesn’t sell, how
　am I going to bring them home?
・Now that I’ve got the pan and pot, time to go grocery
　shopping
・Picked up mushrooms, pork, and butter
・The pasta shop, Kou, is open today.
・

折敷、ペン立てを展示販売いたします。
初夏の松本でお会いしましょう！

"Shorten to Kogei " finally kicks off tomorrow.
In the front garden of the Shinmai Media Garden,
we will be exhibiting and selling the full range of patol stools, patol objets, USISU,
folding trays, and pen holders.
Let’s meet in Matsumoto this early summer!
