大阪・心斎橋に4月25日にオープンした複合商業施設「Quartz Shinsaibashi」の大型LEDサイネージのために、常設のオーディオビジュアルインスタレーションを企画制作しました。

クォーツは、地球が何百万年もの時間をかけて生み出した自然の造形。その内部には、想像を超える長い時間の中で刻まれた地球の履歴が眠っています。本作品では、クォーツを単なる鉱物としてではなく、「地球の記憶媒体」として捉え、その結晶構造や時間のレイヤーを映像とテクノロジーによって可視化。建築と共鳴する動的な視覚環境として空間に実装しました。

For Quartz Shinsaibashi, a newly opened mixed-use commercial complex in Osaka, JKD Collective created a permanent audiovisual installation for its large-scale LED signage.

Quartz is a natural formation shaped over millions of years. Hidden within its crystalline structure are traces of geological time far beyond human imagination.
Rather than treating quartz simply as a mineral, we approached it as a “memory medium of the Earth.” Through moving image, generative systems, and sound, the work visualizes layers of time embedded within the crystal and transforms them into a dynamic visual environment that resonates with the architecture.

万博プロジェクトを軸に、あっという間に駆け抜けた 2025 年も、いよいよエンディング。 寒さが増してきましたが、皆さまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。
日頃のつながりとサポートへの感謝を込めて、今年も JKD Year-end Party を下記の通り開催いたします。

今年は、万博という大舞台を共に乗り切った HIFANA の KEIZOmachine!、そして Hiroshi Watanabe aka Kaito さんに、それぞれ 90 分の DJ セットをお願いしています。
年末のお忙しい時期かと思いますが、この二人の選曲による “音の世界” を、田口音響によるスピーカーシステムで、間近で体験できる貴重な機会です。お誘い合わせのうえ、ほんの少しでもお立ち寄りいただけたら幸いです。

【お知らせ】11/29 Sat・11/30 Sun の今週末、第2回 Tech Direction Awards 受賞作品展に、JKDがサウンドディレクション／プロデュースを担当した「Osaka Expo 2025 Soundscape Design」を出展します。また、トークセッションには、代表のブルース・イケダも登壇します。
本プロジェクトは、フィジカルエクスペリエンス部門で金賞を受賞。会場では、審査員から満場一致で高評価を得たSound Brief（ディレクションシート）を、大型パネルとモニターでスライド展示します。

トークセッションでは、万博全体のアンブレラコンセプトを7つのエリアのサウンドスケープへどのように落とし込んだのか、また7名のコンポーザーとともに生成的でダイナミックな音響体験をどのように共創したのか、そのプロセスについてお話しします。イベントは渋谷・404 Not Found にて開催。ブルースは 11/29 Sat 14:30〜に登壇予定です。ご都合合えば、ぜひお立ち寄りください。

This weekend, Nov 29–30, we will be exhibiting “Osaka Expo 2025 Soundscape Design”— directed and produced by JKD —at the Tech Direction Awards Exhibition in Shibuya. Our representative, Bruce Ikeda, will also join the talk session.
The project received the Gold Prize in the Physical Experience category. At the venue, the Sound Brief—unanimously acclaimed by the judges—will be presented as a large visual panel and slide display. In the talk session, Bruce will discuss how the Expo’s overarching umbrella concept, led by Sou Fujimoto and the venue design producers, was translated into the soundscape across seven areas. He will also share insights into the collaborative process with seven composers, and how the generative, dynamic audio experience was created.The event will take place at 404 Not Found (Shibuya). Bruce will be speaking on Sat, Nov 29 at 14:30. We look forward to seeing you there.
