Here we go again! We’re making something — not a hand gr***de 💣, but a clothes rack. It’s a repeat order, but we’re posting this partly as a reminder for ourselves since we might forget how to make it next time. Covering the metal frame with wooden pieces is trickier than it looks!

She helped us with so many things, and while we wish we could’ve provided even more opportunities for her to be involved in various aspects of our work, we truly hope that the chair she designed and made for the first time will become a meaningful experience for her future. Since it’s been a while with just the two of us in the workshop, we welcomed our intern Victoria .works back to +veve and took a team photo⚽️. The shortest guy started out in the back, but he looked so tiny that we switched spots and put him right in the front. Just as we’re finally starting to feel like a real team, the internship has less than a month left🎑

This long, narrow dining table was crafted from ginkgo wood provided by the customer. The original slab measured 89×520×1900 mm, and every component—from the tabletop to the legs—was made from this single plank. The customer lives alone but occasionally enjoys meals here with their grandchildren. 😊

This afternoon, we were on-site in Kyoto’s Shōgo-in area to install a flip-up door for the takeout counter at OHARU, a new restaurant opening soon. It was our first time using gas spring stays, so we were a bit nervous until the installation was complete—but everything worked just as calculated in advance, and it all came together beautifully🤩
