Global collaboration in action at our new headquarters hall.

This week, leadership teams from across the Kotobuki Seating Group have gathered in Japan for the Global Leadership Meeting 2026. The agenda includes discussions on growth strategies, governance, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration across regions and businesses.

The meeting is being held in Pioneer Hall, a newly opened multipurpose space at our headquarters. Featuring our retractable seating and stage systems, the hall can be reconfigured to support a wide range of activities—providing an ideal setting for bringing our global team together.

A space for reflection at the National Medal of Honor Museum.

Designed as a living monument dedicated to remembrance and learning, the museum’s Col. Neel E. Kearby Theater features our TS-71 seating. Chosen for its quiet operation and warm wood finishes, the seating supports the calm and reflective atmosphere of the space.
The theater also incorporates ADA-compliant and removable seating to help create an accessible and welcoming environment for all visitors.

A dramatic before-and-after transformation at Prinny’s Culture Hall.

Originally opened in 1987, the hall has been revitalized with our Unison TS-19 seating to support a more comfortable and accessible audience experience. The renovation included wider seats, a staggered seating layout for improved sightlines, and our ergonomic Spacia design to enhance ease of movement when sitting and standing.

Angled seat legs also help improve circulation through the rows, creating a layout better suited to the expectations of modern performance venues.

MAO RINK TACHIKAWA TACHIHI, produced by figure skater Mao Asada, features our LIMS seating, selected by Ms. Asada at our showroom for its comfort and viewing quality.

To meet the specific requirements of an ice rink environment, the seating incorporates cold-resistant resin materials and a quiet tip-up mechanism to support a comfortable and distraction-free audience experience. Sightlines were also carefully optimized to create a stronger sense of proximity to the performance on the ice.

Global excellence meets bespoke craftsmanship at Busan Concert Hall.

Opened in June 2025, this vineyard-style concert hall features 2,011 original seats developed by the Kotobuki Seating Group. Every detail—from the ergonomically shaped wooden frames to the custom four-tone red gradient upholstery created by FABRIKO—was designed specifically for the venue’s architectural and acoustic environment.

The GS-CUBE capsule system enables hotels to convert existing areas into compact guest accommodations in as little as six months. Its modular aluminum frame is designed to pass through standard doorways, allowing for efficient installation within existing buildings.

A refined wood-grain finish and ergonomic “mini-deck” ladders support both comfort and usability, offering a practical approach to increasing capacity within a limited footprint.

Spatial versatility is no longer constrained by fixed walls. At Kanazawa College of Art, our Laser Guided Travelling Model enables seating units to move autonomously across the arena floor, transforming a standard gymnasium into a ceremonial hall within minutes.

This automated system supports efficient space planning by allowing layouts to be reconfigured as needed—helping facilities accommodate different functions without major operational effort.

A global icon recognized on the world stage: New Japan Umeda receives the Platinum Award at the MUSE Hotel Awards 2026.

As the world’s first capsule hotel, New Japan Umeda has featured capsule beds by Kotobuki Seating since its inception, based on the concept developed by architect Kisho Kurokawa. This award highlights a project that preserves these original units as part of the hotel’s identity while reinterpreting the space for today.

The design introduces mirrored ceilings to create a layered, immersive environment, offering a new spatial experience while retaining the original capsules. It is encouraging to see a long-standing project incorporating our capsule beds receive this level of international recognition.
