La collina retrostante l'abitato di Costozza è caratterizzata da una serie di grotte, alcune visitabili, note come i covoli di Costozza, utilizzate in antichità sia come cantine, che per l’estrazione della tipica pietra, conosciuta fin dai tempi dei romani. Nel cuore di questo prezioso borgo sorge Villa Matilde, situata tra la piazza principale e la Villa Trento Carli e la Villa da Schio e ed è pied-a-terre ideale per visitare le numerose ville e i parchi del territorio Vicentino. The hills which surround the village of Costozza are characterized by a series of visitable caves, known as “covoli di Costozza”, used in ancient times as wineries and for the extraction of the typical stone since Roman age.
