“Racconta mio padre … che sua madre Nella gli narrava sempre che, all’epoca delle sanzioni fasciste, dopo la chiusura della cappelleria, suo marito non dormì per un’intera settimana dalla disperazione di avere perduto così repentinamente l
a ditta che i suoi genitori avevano avviato nel lontano 1906. Ma in quella settimana trovò anche la forza di reagire.…." Cosi inizia la storia di un'azienda, simbolo da sempre di qualità, innovazione e forza. Nasce dall'inventiva di Brunetto Targioni che, all'alba della seconda guerra mondiale, ha l'intuizione di riconvertire la produzione di cappelli in tessuti e filati di lana e cotone. Alla sua morte, nel 1953, l’azienda passa poi al quintogenito Franco, che ripercorrendo in chiave contemporanea l’antica arte della impagliatura e torcitura, ne meccanizza i processi e amplia, nei decenni successivi, la capacità produttiva con nuovi stabilimenti e reparti, facendo di Ta-Bru, spa un’azienda oggi leader nel settore del tessile per la pelletteria di lusso. Nel 2016, il progetto Retorta, è la naturale evoluzione della tradizione dell’azienda, passata indenne attraverso difficili epoche storiche. Una collezione di complementi di arredo, che, non dimenticando le origini, mantiene inalterato il sapore degli anni arricchendolo con la qualità e il gusto che i tempi moderni richiedono. This is the beginning of the story of a company that has always been an emblem of quality, innovation, and strength. It was founded by Brunetto Targioni who, at the beginning of WWII, was insightful enough to convert from hat production to wool and cotton textiles and yarns. When he passed away in 1953, the company went to his fifth son, Franco, who gave a contemporary interpretation to the ancient art of straw weaving and slubbing, mechanizing the process, and increased its productivity with new plants and departments, making Ta-Bru S.p.A. a leading company in the field of fabrics for luxury leather goods. In 2016, project Retorta was the natural evolution of the company’s tradition, which had survived difficult historic periods unscathed.
