Let’s talk about marble!

Marble and natural stone bring depth, texture and variation to mosaic surfaces.

Entirely natural, each tessera is unique in color, veining and reflection, making every composition completely unrepeatable.

Different finishes reveal different characteristics of the material, from polished surfaces to raw split textures.

What may seem like imperfections are actually what define the authenticity of the stone itself.

Parliamo di marmo!

Il marmo e la pietra naturale conferiscono profondità, texture e variazione alle superfici musive.

Essendo materiali interamente naturali, ogni tessera è unica per colore, venature e riflessi, rendendo ogni composizione completamente irripetibile.

Le diverse finiture rivelano caratteristiche differenti del materiale, dalle superfici lucidate alle texture grezze a spacco.

Quelli che possono sembrare difetti sono in realtà gli elementi che definiscono l’autenticità stessa della pietra.

The 12th edition of Le Giornate della Luce takes place from June 6 to 14 in Spilimbergo, celebrating the art of cinematography through screenings, masterclasses, exhibitions, and conversations dedicated to the language of light and visual storytelling.

Once again, Friul Mosaic is proud to create the festival’s iconic mosaic awards, handcrafted pieces that celebrate excellence in cinematography while reflecting the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of our region.

A project where cinema, art, and mosaic come together through creativity, precision, and material expression.

A celebration where light meets craftsmanship.

La 12ª edizione de Le Giornate della Luce si svolge dal 6 al 14 giugno a Spilimbergo, celebrando l’arte della cinematografia attraverso proiezioni, masterclass, mostre e incontri dedicati al linguaggio della luce e della narrazione visiva.

Anche quest’anno, Friul Mosaic è orgogliosa di realizzare gli iconici premi del festival, opere musive realizzate a mano che celebrano l’eccellenza cinematografica e raccontano al tempo stesso l’artigianalità e il patrimonio culturale del nostro territorio.

Un progetto in cui cinema, arte e mosaico si incontrano attraverso creatività, precisione ed espressione materica.

Una celebrazione dove la luce incontra l’artigianalità.

Inside a private villa, mosaic becomes part of the architecture.

For this swimming pool project, the surface was developed to interact with light, water and spatial perception.

Each tessera contributes to continuity, reflection and depth, transforming the pool into an integrated architectural element rather than a separate feature.

Marble, reinterpreted through mosaic.
