Born in Milan in 1929, RODOLFO BONETTO began his career as a jazz drummer before becoming a self-taught designer.
From 1958, he worked across a wide range of industrial fields, including machinery, clocks, lighting, ski boots, surgical lasers and automobiles.
He also contributed to industrial design education at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm and Isia in Rome. A recipient of eight Compasso d’Oro awards, including one for his career, he died in Milan in 1991.
