Progetto vincitore della 12ma edizione del MYDA – Millennium Yacht Design Award nella sezione C “La barca a misura d’uomo”, R_30 daysailer è un progetto di Alessandro Comuzzi destinato indistintamente a persone normodotate o in sedia a rotelle. L’obiettivo del progetto è stato di concepire fin da subito una barca senza barriere e non di adattarla a posteriori; l’obiettivo è centrato grazie alla ru
ota senza raggi (brevettata), utilizzabile in qualsiasi posizione e ad una piattaforma mobile, accessibile ad una persona in sedia a rotelle, che consente l’inclinazione a barca sbandata. Il problema di assecondare con il corpo il movimento della barca, in particolare per quanto riguarda il rollio, fornendo la necessaria inclinazione in relazione all’andatura, è stato risolto proprio con questa piattaforma basculante comandata da un pistone. La barca è risultata molto sensibile al timone, confortevole nella conduzione e reattiva anche con un filo d’aria. Càpita è costruita in legno lamellare di mogano e okumè su struttura in compensato marino, ponte e panche sono rifinite in EVOteck e la particolare ruota di governo è realizzata in carbonio. Le vele sono Eurosail, il rigging è stato affidato a Jack bolina e Sail Service si è occupata della fornitura custom della timoneria. It has sleek lines and a conduction system responsive as on a racing boat, offering a comfortable and relaxing commanding position. The overall aesthetics is characterized by the great steering wheel without rays and a mobile platform that enables the inclination of wheelchair when the boat is inclinated. The aim of this project was to conceive right away a boat without barriers and not to adapt it afterwards for people on wheelchair. The steering wheel, unlike other existing systems on boats for disabled persons, allows handicapped as well as able-bodied to command in any position, ensuring a classical sensibility on the steering wheel. The particular problem with the body to accommodate the movement of the boat in roll, is solved with a platform rocker to give the necessary inclination to the wheelchair. This is controlled by a piston with a control unit and by a gyroscope installed on the mast. In navigation, the platform stays on the average inclination, and the body absorbs the extra inclination so that you still feel the movement of the boat. Le caratteristiche di Càpita, R_30 daysailer
