A transparent wine cellar that turns a private collection into architecture.
In this Long Island villa, Extravega brought to life a one‑of‑a‑kind glass wine cellar designed by ORA Studio NYC, led by Giusi Mastro.
Behind the apparent simplicity, there is a lot of custom work:
- fully glazed walls and doors that frame the wines like artworks
-a handmade wine racking system in solid oak wood and stainless steel
– bespoke brass pins and details for both aesthetics and safety
– integrated LED lighting that softly highlights every bottle

We also crafted and installed the stairwell and the artistic ironwork on all 78 balconies of the property
— aligning every element with the architect’s refined vision.

For architects and general contractors, this is where architectural glass, bespoke metal and woodwork, and precise installation come together in a single, buildable solution.

At the heart of an exclusive residence, a Monumental Staircase rises: bold, sculptural, and precisely engineered. Its central spine, a custom-made oval pipe, has been skillfully compressed and shaped to evolve dynamically, its dimensions and curvature shifting in perfect harmony with the staircase’s flowing form.
