Embracing the Japanese philosophy of Komorebi, our installation for Milan Design Week captures the essence of light filtering through tree leaves, symbolizing the beauty of impermanence and fostering a profound connection to the present moment.
The project unfolds in two interconnected realms. Firstly, a meticulous study of sunlight enables the replication of its soft, natural glow. Secondly, a structure adorned with emblematic leaves crafted through cold metal casting techniques comes to life.
The interplay between shadows, luminous reflections, and the rich metallic hues of gold and copper leaves creates a dynamic spectacle of ever-changing colors, infusing spaces with a vibrant and mesmerizing aura.
