Messér, the new cabinet by and designed by , draws inspiration from the marble decorations of Venetian palaces and churches.

A classic motif is transformed into a sophisticated system of integrated handles, where geometry, material and function interact in perfect harmony. The solid wood handles, available in walnut or oak, define the sculptural character of the piece.

Messér is conceived as an object for everyday living, capable of bringing the timeless charm of Venetian culture into contemporary spaces.

, architect and designer, one of the most influential figures on the contemporary Italian scene, has spent decades engaged in design research, collaborating with iconic names in design and architecture.

From the magazines Casabella and Modo in the 1970s and 1980s, to the exhibitions he curated for the Venice Biennale and the Milan Triennale, right through to projects for FontanaArte, Kartell, Cappellini, Artemide and many others: his work continues to leave a recognisable and radical mark.

Column is not just a storage unit, but a tribute to architecture. Its lines evoke noble heritage through meticulous grooves, interrupted only by the bold character of a red and blue drawer and a handle that certainly catches the eye.

The piece bears the signature of , a leading architect and designer on the Milanese scene. In this piece, Raggi brings his experience in signature design to life, transforming a classic structural element into a functional object with a unique visual impact.

Some pictures to remember MEDULUM’s pieces showcased during the 2019 edition of the London Design Festival at , the unmissable London design gallery renowned for its contemporary collections and limited edition design pieces.

Take a look at the Milione cabinet by and the Carabottino sideboard by . Both pieces were designed as part of MEDULUM’s evocative furniture collection inspired by Venetian heritage.

A skillful interplay of weft and warp is evoked by the Milione cabinet, an essential piece defined by elegance. The noble wave is composed of wooden strips alternated with brass elements and conceals four hinged doors.

A clever game of full and empty spaces makes the Carabottino sideboard mysterious and fascinating at the same time. The play of solids and voids, of overlapping images filtered through its texture, makes it vibrant, like a moving picture.

Some details of Nanda, a cabinet from the Parvati collection designed by as part of Souvenir, MEDULUM’s 2021 furniture collection.

Indian tradition inspires the Nanda cabinet, as well as the entire Parvati collection — a series of design pieces featuring wood with lively tonalities that enhance the grain, and vibrant, multicolored textures reminiscent of 1960s psychedelia, which was strongly influenced by the Indian subcontinent.
