Lazy Chair
design Monica Förster Design Studio

When textile becomes structure, shaping both the comfort and appearance of a seat.

Born from the encounter between Monica Förster’s design sensibility and Paola Lenti’s ongoing research into materials, Lazy Chair is a chaise longue where the deliberately visible detail of the handwoven cord brings together craftsmanship, function and aesthetic expression.

A single design principle takes shape in two versions, outdoor and indoor, each developed with specific materials to adapt naturally to different contexts: from outdoor spaces and lounge areas to more intimate domestic settings.

Paola Lenti's 44 colour families arrive in Australia.

In collaboration with our longstanding partner dedece, we introduced the Chromatic Alphabet to architects, interior designers and design journalists at the Paola Lenti monobrand stores in Melbourne and Sydney. Two days dedicated to exploring the colours, materials and surfaces that define Paola Lenti's distinctive design language.

Following a presentation led by Anna Lenti, CEO of Paola Lenti, guests took part in a workshop where they experienced the Chromatic Alphabet as a practical design tool, creating colour palettes and material combinations to give shape to imagined living environments.

Our sincere thanks go to dedece for making these events possible and for continuing to share, with passion, the design culture that unites us.

The soundtrack that accompanied the videos of Dialoghi, Paola Lenti's event during Milano Design Week 2026, was generated from the physiological activity of plants.

Imperceptible bioelectrical signals generated by the plant species growing in Via Bovio were transformed into unique, unrepeatable soundscapes, inviting us to experience nature from a different perspective.

Before the vibrant rhythm of Design Week awakens the city, Paola Lenti Milano is immersed in a quiet, almost suspended atmosphere. Light filters through the trees, colours gradually emerge, and a spontaneous dialogue unfolds between plants, materials, forms and surfaces. As visitors arrive, this landscape comes to life through ever-changing encounters, voices and emotions, revealing an environment where colour becomes a language and nature exists in harmony with everything around it.

A visual journey through the atmosphere of the Paola Lenti flagship store during Milano Design Week 2026.

There are places that invite us to slow down, listen to the silence and rediscover our sense of balance.

Kiori, the outdoor seating collection comprising an armchair and two- and three-seater sofas, seems made for moments like these. With its generous proportions, welcoming forms and understated design, it transforms gardens, terraces and poolside settings into spaces to be enjoyed with elegance and freedom, in harmony with nature.

Today, the collection offers countless expressive possibilities. The weave, handcrafted in Aquatech, Paola Lenti's signature yarn for outdoor use, adds warmth to the structure through colour and a rich tactile quality. In the armchair, the new Maglia Rasata knit upholstery enhances the feeling of enveloping comfort even further.

To evolve without losing its identity. This is the enduring value of a project conceived to renew itself while standing the test of time.

Bistrò, an essential parasol. Never formal.
Dicover at lnk

There is an idea of summer that never goes out of style: open-air lunches, conversations in the garden, terraces enjoyed in good company from dawn to dusk.

With Bistrò, Paola Lenti reinterprets a timeless outdoor classic through a contemporary design language, expressing its vision of outdoor living through furnishings that are functional, elegant, simple and enduring, designed to coexist harmoniously with their surroundings.

Introduced in 2014, Bistrò's sunshades — fixed or tilting — are inspired by Eastern forms, reach up to three meters in diameter and are available in two versions, flat or dome-shaped. Designed to overlap slightly, they create large shaded areas that can be adapted as needed, offering an original and flexible solution for hotels, cafés and restaurants.

Introduced this past April, the latest addition to the collection makes Poppy and Herbier sunshades available with rounded or squared valances. A detail that brings together tradition and modernity, lightness and precision, beauty and function through the geometry of pure forms.

Some furnishings cannot be defined by a single category. They are not simply sofas or chaise longues. They are platforms designed for relaxation—welcoming places to enjoy freely, whether shared with others or reserved for personal moments.
Paola Lenti outdoor platforms stem from this idea: transforming outdoor spaces into fluid, contemporary environments where comfort, material research, and artisanal quality come together. Exclusive Paola Lenti fabrics enhance their identity, making each design unique and instantly recognizable.

ORLANDO, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune and Bestetti Associati, expands compositional possibilities through freely configurable elements.

ELIANTO, designed by Espen Øino, brings to outdoor spaces the elegance and versatility originally developed for the yachting world.

POD invites spontaneous moments of relaxation through its oversized seat cushion.

Three different interpretations of outdoor wellbeing, united by a shared vision: creating places to be enjoyed without constraints, where luxury is expressed through simplicity, comfort, and freedom.

𝗣𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗗𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼 𝗱’𝗢𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

An award that celebrates a design vision shaped over time through continuous research into materials and colours, technological innovation and artisanal experimentation.

But, above all, through a collective effort. The effort of all the people who, every day, both within and beyond the company, transform ideas and visions into tangible projects through their expertise, dedication and passion.

During the award ceremony, Paola Lenti expressed her heartfelt thanks to her sister Anna, the company’s CEO, who has shared her entrepreneurial journey since the very beginning, contributing to the growth and international positioning of the brand.

From Meda, Paola Lenti continues to bring to the world a culture of design, quality and authentic Italian craftsmanship.
