More than 40% of plastic is used only once before being thrown away. 🍃 The plastics, microplastics, and nanoplastics that end up in the seas not only affect the health of the oceans and the marine species that inhabit it, but also harm the safety and quality of the food that humans eat, coastal tourism, and contribute to climate change.

If recycled properly, plastic can give life to many everyday items such as textiles, vegetable crates, and plant pots. Do you know of any others?

Today most deforestation 🍃 occurs in the tropics and it is estimated how an area the size of Switzerland (about 38,300 square kilometers) is lost each year. Conscious and sustainable agriculture, new technologies, replanting trees or letting nature repair itself are just some of the possible remedies that should be taken to avoid the most disastrous consequences of deforestation.
