L’idea dietro a MyPixxels nasce da quasi 20 anni di ricerca, studio e approfondimento che prendono forma grazie alle nuove tecniche di modellazione e produzione della tecnologia 4.0. Tali tecniche permettono di dare forma alla libertà creativa senza perdere la qualità espressiva del design, arrivando a trovare nei “maker” una via contemporanea alla produzione artigianale.
Questo sogno nel 2017 prende la forma di un progetto chiamato MyPixxels presentato in collaborazione con Regione Liguria allo SMAU di Milano e, nel maggio 2018 diventa una StartUp Innovativa.
I prodotti di MyPixxels si collocano a metà tra l’industrial design e l’artigianato con tirature estremamente limitate ma ripetibili in serie rispetto al modello artigianale.
Questo tipo di produzione offre la possibilità all’utente finale di acquistare un design artigianale fatto su misura, permettendo di individualizzare le scelte tra un’ampia gamma di varianti cromatiche, abbinamenti e piccole personalizzazioni tali da rispecchiare al meglio la personalità e le preferenze del cliente e rendendo il prodotto acquistato unico e originale.
Tutti i progetti di design nascono da un’idea, un’intuizione, un concept, un’attenta osservazione di ciò che ci circonda, diventando dei modelli virtuali che nel tempo si arricchiscono di dettagli frutto di una ricerca continua fino alla realizzazione.
MyPiXXels si ispira alla corrente artistica nota come Pop Art. I suoi prodotti, grazie all’alto gradimento estetico ed alle confezioni semplici e seducenti, sono rappresentativi dell’immaginario collettivo dell’uomo “consumatore”.
Oggetti comuni dallo stile brillante e vivace diventano arte, le opere d’arte diventano design, rendendo sfocata la linea di confine tra le due discipline e facili da inserirli negli spazi contemporanei.

La forma della superfice in plastica dai colori pieni, vivaci e creativi; L’estro che scaturisce dalla tradizione artigianale rivisitata in chiave moderna, stravagante e iconica; La tecnologia di stampa 3D che consente la riproducibilità seriale; Infine, l’eco sostenibilità con l’utilizzo di materiali plastici ecologici derivati da piante come il mais, il grano o la barbabietola, il riciclo del vetro come seconda vita di un oggetto, l’uso del cartone per il packaging che può essere a sua volta utilizzato come complemento d’arredo prima di essere gettato e i bassi consumi energetici dei prodotti con componenti elettrici ed elettronici.
The idea behind MyPixxels has been the result of almost 20 years of research, study and in-depth analysis that take shape thanks to the new modelling and production techniques of 4.0 technology.
These techniques allow us to give shape to creative freedom without losing the expressive quality of design, aim to find in the "makers" a contemporary way to craft production.
In 2017, this dream became a project called MyPixxels presented at SMAU - Milan in collaboration with Regione Liguria and, in May 2018 became an Innovative Start-Up.
MyPixxels’ products are halfway between industrial design and craftsmanship.
The runs of production are limited but they can be repeated in series compared to the craft model.
This type of production allows the user to purchase a tailored craftsmanship design, through the choice of color, pairings and small customizations which aim to reflect the customers’ personality and preferences and to make the purchased product unique and original.
All design projects come from an intuition and a careful observation of what surrounds us, giving shape to virtual models which over time are enriched through continuous research.
MyPiXXels is inspired by the Pop Art artistic current. Its products, thanks to the creation with a high aesthetic appeal and a simple and seductive packaging, are representative of the collective man's imagination "consumer"

The shape of the surface is in plastic and the colors are solid, lively and creative; The inspiration that comes from the craft tradition revisited in a modern, extravagant and iconic key; The 3D printing technology that allows the serial reproducibility; The eco-sustainability with the use of ecological plastic materials derived from plants such as corn, wheat or sugar beet, the glass recycling, the cardboard for packaging which can be used as a furnishing complement before being thrown away and the low energy consumption products.
