Furniture made in Cantù, Italy since 1958 The company NUBE is born with a name meaning softness of the cushions.

The way followed by Antonio Nicoli for the establishment of NUBE company started in 1958 with the tertiary work for the production of metal frames for sofas of still today very well known companies. In a few years the little company grows and develops quickly: they start the production of stuffed products and the creation of the first collections. Always directed by Antonio Nicoli, NUBE has a phas

e of big expansion on the national territory in the 70th. In the following years they start the export activity especially to the Middle Eastern markets, adapting parts of the production to “Style products”. But the company doesn’t ignore the other markets and in the 90th they renew the production exhibiting modern collections, letting Italy be the distribution point and starting to work with USA, Europe and Far East. Now NUBE has an international character and it is time to grow -with the entry in the company of the sons of Antonio: Simona and Corrado Nicoli – and to think to Design. We are in 2000 and they start cooperating with Carlo Colombo and Marco Corti, who wish to renew the production and the imagine of the company. Now the foreign markets absorb 90% of the total production and pieces of our collection furnished rooms of the Mecca, some restaurants of Planet Hollywood chain, Porsche distributors in Germany, famous restaurants in London, important hotels in Singapore, Novotel in Paris and Lugano, the Vip Lounge in New York JFK airport, Bentley car distributors and the seat of a famous German tv network.. The company is also a producer for some Home Fashion Brand. In 2017 the company starts the cooperation with the designer Giuseppe Viganò who creates a new corporate imagine, fresh and contemporary, adding to the catalogue new Design products always keeping his production style.

TENDER
Spaziando dalla zona living alla zona notte, in continuità estetica, Tender prende la forma di un letto con giroletto e testiera imbottiti. Nasconde, a richiesta un vano contenitore. E propone a scelta, come decoro funzionale, le fascette di camoscio per dare particolarità alla testiera e permettere a un lungo cuscino cilindrico di scorrere per posizionarlo all’altezza più utile e alle più personali esigenze di comfort ergonomico.

Moving from the living area to the sleeping area in seamless aesthetic continuity, Tender takes the shape of a bed with an upholstered frame and headboard. On request, it conceals a storage compartment. And it offers, as an optional functional detail, suede straps that lend character to the headboard and allow a long cylindrical cushion to slide along it, so it can be positioned at the most convenient height and adapted to the most personal ergonomic comfort needs.

HAVEN
Un bianco elegante, quasi immateriale, avvolge il e le due Haven in un dialogo continuo con la luce naturale. Forme morbide, volumi generosi, un tessuto che invita a fermarsi. Haven nasce dall'idea che il comfort non debba rinunciare all'estetica, anzi, li fonde in un unico gesto scultoreo.

An elegant, almost immaterial white envelops the Haven and its two in a continuous dialogue with natural light. Soft shapes, generous volumes, a fabric that invites you to stop and stay. Haven was born from the idea that comfort shouldn't come at the expense of aesthetics, instead, it fuses the two into a single sculptural gesture.

LITO ROUND
Nasce con il piano circolare e con un carattere conviviale. Aereo, ricompone, con un effetto visivo inedito, gli elementi della base della versione rettangolare del tavolo omonimo rendendo più esplicita la concezione monolitica che ne denota l’aspetto.

It is born with a circular plan and a convivial character. Airy, it recomposes, with an unprecedented visual effect, the elements of the base from the rectangular version of the table of the same name, making more explicit the monolithic conception that defines its appearance.

SAILOR
Niente più di quattro cuscini mobili compongono la poltrona Sailor, quasi un archetipo di una nuova modernità. Sospesa su una base in essenza di legno e piedini in metallo, si libra in uno stabile equilibrio di linee e geometrie che riescono ad arredare ogni spazio.

RAFFLES
Eterei, sorretti da esili gambette affusolate in metallo lucido in nuance con il top, i tavolini Raflles si prestano a essere accostati a coppia o più. Per via delle diverse altezze e per le forme irregolari del piano in vetro retroverniciato che sembrano frammenti di una figura da comporre in libertà.

Ethereal, held up by slender tapered legs in glossy metal that match the top in tone, the Raffles side tables lend themselves to being paired or grouped together. Thanks to their varying heights and the irregular shapes of the back-painted glass tops, which look like fragments of a figure to be freely arranged.
