Hippolyte rappresenta la volontà di ritrovare, nel concetto di semplice eleganza ed equilibrio, un’estetica senza tempo. La normalità come intuizione e ricerca formale che si ispira alla tradizione ma nel contempo la nega. L’attenzione del prodotto infatti ricade su alcuni dettagli che diventano il fulcro concettuale del divano, come il vassoio che mette in relazione la base e l’imbottito, accogliendo al suo interno le morbide cuscinature.

Andrea Steidl al Salone del Mobile 2019 presenta Wallaby, un nuovo divano modulare.

Wallaby è un sistema divano in cui la cura del dettaglio risulta il tema dominante; un motivo di cuciture sartoriali circondano il sistema di sedute conferendo un’elegante bombatura a tre quarti, che si trasforma in funzionale tasca per riporre gli oggetti. La tasca nasce da un sofisticato sistema di rivestimento fissato ad una struttura portante che ne controlla la forma. Il rivestimento viene ricamato con una cucitura verticale che scandisce graficamente il passo dei moduli. La ricerca di tecnologie e l’introduzione di nuovi materiali hanno portato Busnelli ad un nuovo livello di comodità ed accoglienza.

FORMER/BUSNELLI SPA IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE WINNING OF THE ARCHIPRODUCTS DESIGN AWARDS WITH THE KAI SYSTEM DESIGNED BY PINUCCIO BORGONOVO

The Kai system designed by Pinuccio Borgonovo won the award created by Archiproducts, which, at its third edition, wants to celebrate the excellence of international design.
The jury, composed of 40 of the most important international architectural studios, has rewarded the armchair for its outstanding design.
The Kai system is a multi-story architecture supported by vertical uprights and free from any structural division. A system with a flexible modular grid where the structure can be freely composed according to the needs. Its modules can be combined in multiple linear compositions.
For the Former/Busnelli Spa, the award is a symbol of the unavoidable synergy between company and designer.
