MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2026 — METROQUALITY ATELIER

From April 21 to 26, we will be in the heart of Brera Design District at MetroQuality Atelier, Via Solferino 24 — the first “Appartamento Manifesto” by MetroQuality.

A real, lived-in space where materials become architecture.

Designed by R6003 Studio and brought to life by StatusContract , the Atelier goes beyond the concept of a showroom, offering a tangible vision of how surfaces and craftsmanship shape contemporary living.

Within this setting, Artisti del Metallo ✨ will present a new sculptural work inspired by vine branches and leaves in brass — a reflection on matter as a living, evolving language

During the week, the space will also host “The Suite”, a temporary pop-up installation conceived specifically for this edition, alongside the official opening of MetroQuality ATELIER.

A place to experience architecture through materials, details, and atmosphere.

MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2026 — METROQUALITY ATELIER

Dal 21 al 26 aprile saremo nel cuore di Brera Design District , in Via Solferino 24, all’interno di MetroQuality Atelier, il primo “Appartamento Manifesto” di MetroQuality.

Uno spazio reale e vissuto, dove i materiali diventano architettura.

& come together in this project where design elements merge to create one of a kind project.

This villa on Lake Como begins with observation.
The architecture defines the order: generous heights, ornamental plasterwork, and axial views toward the landscape.

The intervention follows a disciplined approach. Historic elements remain intact and legible. Contemporary insertions introduce clarity and control through metal volumes and precise geometries.

Light becomes the primary material, shaping depth and proportion across the interiors.

I see design as a calibration between memory and vision. When balanced, space acquires permanence and quiet intensity.

Developed in collaboration with Interior Design Lake Como, this project reflects a shared expertise in historic contexts, preserving identity while guiding spaces toward a refined contemporary condition.
We manage complete renovations and bespoke interior design projects.

PARIS, VOLUME & LIGHT

Design becomes powerful the moment it feels inevitable.

This concept for a fashion store in Paris, developed with starts from the space itself. The existing architecture—ornate ceilings, classical proportions, refined wall details—is allowed to breathe, becoming the foundation of the project.

A contemporary layer of steel, reflective surfaces and pure volumes is introduced with precision, creating a clear and controlled spatial rhythm. I’ve always believed that retail design today is about subtraction: when space is defined with clarity, the experience follows naturally.

Display elements read as architectural gestures, while light moves freely across materials, shaping perception and depth. It is light that builds the atmosphere, giving weight and presence to every surface.

The result is a quiet balance between heritage and contemporary language—where memory and function coexist, and where design reveals itself through clarity rather than excess.

LIGHT, MATTER, SILENCE — A MILAN LOFT

In this loft, the architecture is essential: double heights, vertical wooden slats, metal-clad walls that capture and reflect light. Sunlight enters sharply, drawing diagonal cuts across surfaces. I’ve always believed light is the first material of any project; everything else is a consequence.

At the center stands the sculptural tree by , enclosed in glass like a contemporary relic. Not decoration, but presence. Around it, custom metal claddings give depth and texture — matter here is layered, tactile, intentional.

The living area softens the rigor. The curved sofas and armchairs by introduce balance and comfort, tempering architectural strength with generous forms. Architecture defines the structure; upholstery defines the rhythm.

Design, to me, should never shout. It should hold tension and release in equal measure. In this loft, contrast becomes harmony — metal and marble, glass and fabric, shadow and light — all part of one coherent narrative.

VILLA BECKER — HERITAGE REIMAGINED

Villa Becker, on the hills of Turin, stands as a reminder that Italy’s historic architecture is not a relic, but a responsibility. Revaluing our artistic heritage means giving it continuity, not nostalgia.

In my renovation concept, frescoes, vaults and original stone remain intact as living memory. Contemporary elements—brass, marble, sculptural forms—enter with restraint, creating dialogue rather than contrast.

I believe architecture should not freeze time, but carry it forward. When past and present speak the same language, heritage becomes relevant again.

I’m happy to share that ’s February print issue features an in-depth interview dedicated to my work, vision, and ongoing research on materials, space, and design.

A moment to slow down and reflect on how architecture, interior design, and craftsmanship can merge into a coherent language—one made of matter, time, and intention.

Grateful to the editorial team for the thoughtful conversation and for giving space to a narrative that goes beyond form, touching on process, identity, and experimentation.

ARCHITECTURE AS A QUIET PRESENCE

This multibrand fashion concept store in Barcelona was conceived as a inhabited sculpture.

Working alongside , I approached the project by allowing architecture to act as a silent framework rather than a statement.

Classical proportions, columns and decorative details coexist with contemporary elements in metal, glass and refined finishes. The dialogue between past and present is deliberate yet restrained: history becomes a functional tool, never a decorative shortcut.

Natural light plays a central role, shaping volumes and revealing textures with calm precision.

The layout is fluid, designed to slow the pace, encourage exploration and leave room for the garments to breathe. Furniture works as architectural punctuation, guiding movement without imposing it.

I believe interior design reaches its best expression when it supports experience rather than dominating it. Here, balance replaces excess, and materiality becomes a form of language.

The project speaks through relationships: between light and matter, architecture and function, heritage and contemporary retail design.

At the closing days of , we’re proud to present the Ginkgo coffee tables, a limited-edition capsule born within Radici — a collection that explores material, memory, and transformation.

Inspired by the ginkgo leaf, a timeless symbol of resilience and continuity, these tables translate nature into matter: brass surfaces shaped by hand, tactile textures that catch the light, and proportions designed to invite intimacy rather than spectacle.

Presented in Paris over the past days, the collection has been met with an enthusiastic and thoughtful response. We are deeply grateful to all the visitors, architects, designers, and collectors who stopped by, shared impressions, and engaged in dialogue. That exchange is where design truly comes alive.

This capsule is part of Radici, developed in collaboration with , where craftsmanship, experimentation, and a contemporary vision of Italian savoir-faire converge.

Thank you for making this presentation such a meaningful moment.

RADICI — AT MAISON&OBJET

Today the doors of Maison&Objet open, and with them a new chapter for Radici, the collection I designed in collaboration with

Radici was born from a simple, almost physical question: how can matter remember?
Metal becomes surface, surface becomes gesture. Each piece carries traces of time, craftsmanship, and intention—objects conceived not to decorate a space, but to give it depth and identity.

At the collection takes shape within a setting that reflects our shared vision: essential, tactile, quietly expressive. A dialogue between material culture and contemporary design, where brass and metal are treated as living elements, capable of evolving and aging with grace.

If you’re in Paris these days, I invite you to experience Radici in person.

ARCHITECTURE, MEMORY, MATTER

For this restaurant in Paris, developed in collaboration with the project moves along a delicate line between preservation and transformation.

Historic rooms, rich in stuccoes and proportions, become the setting for a contemporary narrative made of metal, light and rhythm.

The intervention doesn’t seek contrast for its own sake. Instead, it works by resonance: brushed and iridescent metal surfaces echo the ornament, softening it; sculptural furnishings introduce a new tempo without overpowering the space.

Architecture here becomes a quiet dialogue between past and present, where design is not an object, but an atmosphere to be inhabited.

This approach — halfway between interior design and installation — reflects our shared vision with Barone Italia: crafting spaces where materials speak, age with dignity, and acquire meaning over time.

Discover RADICI, the new collection designed for Barone Italia, which will be unveiled at MAISON&OBJET.
