Some objects make you stop and ask: "how was it made?" Duondolo is one of them, designed by Valentina Bottani and brought to life by Osmotica Design at 2026. 🪑✨

A continuous sculptural form, 2.5 meters wide, in recycled glass-filled PETG.
No molds, no assembly joints, no geometric compromises forced by tooling logic. 🙅‍♂️

Traditional manufacturing has always imposed a silent negotiation between what a designer imagines and what a factory can actually produce. LFAM breaks it entirely — curvature, wall thickness, mass distribution become design variables, not production constraints. 🔓

Caracol's platform made it possible for Bottani to keep every formal decision intact, from the first sketch to the finished piece. A functional sculpture that moves exactly as she imagined, because nothing had to be sacrificed to fit a process. 💪

The way industrial parts are produced is changing. 💪⏱️
Producing closer to the point of use means shorter distances, leaner logistics, faster turnaround.

The microfactory model, powered by additive manufacturing, is already running in real production environments across aerospace, marine, and industrial sectors. 🚀

New markets. New clients. Shorter production times.

That's what robotic LFAM is delivering for Formes et Volumes. With , the team now produces large-scale molds, prototypes and models faster than ever — while making the whole process more sustainable, with renewable materials at its core 🌱

A real competitive edge, built on technology that keeps opening new doors 🏗️

"Additive and post-processing can't really be integrated."
We hear this one a lot. Along with "automation only pays off at scale" and a few other classics. 🤖

Some skepticism is fair, the technology moved fast. But most of these beliefs describe how things worked years ago, not how robotic printing, finishing and inspection actually run together today.

So we took the myths we hear most often and put them next to reality, one by one, in our latest article on robotic automation in manufacturing. 📰

What if the shape in your head could finally exist in the real world?
No molds. No size limits. No "we can't manufacture that."

With LFAM, designers don't compromise anymore — they build exactly what they imagined.

What if your building's skin could cool the city? 🌿🤖
That's exactly what AeGiS does.

We started from waste. Glass fibers recovered from end-of-life wind turbine blades, turned into something that lives on building façades. Modular panels in rPETG + recycled glass fiber, robotically 3D printed at large scale with our system.

Each panel irrigates, ventilates, cools. Actively fighting the urban heat island effect, one of the most concrete and underestimated problems in the cities we actually live in. ♻️🌿

Cities are getting hotter, and anyone who's spent a summer in a dense urban center already knows this. AeGiS was born from that awareness: architecture can respond, not just aesthetically, but in a functional, systemic way. 🌍

AeGiS is part of , (EU-funded European project) bringing together 30 partners across 7 countries to turn end-of-life composite materials into high-value industrial applications. Proud to have worked alongside -29, , , and Politecnico di Milano.

Dual-use transportation programs sit at one of the hardest intersections in manufacturing — and conventional processes were designed for a completely different set of constraints.

When you're building armored vehicles or protected mobility platforms, tooling cycles that stretch months and buy-to-fly ratios of 10:1 aren't just inefficient. They kill iteration speed and make low-volume economics unworkable.

Robotic LFAM and WAAM were built for exactly this. Parts from a digital file, no hard tooling, deployable where production is needed. The part stays the same. The supply chain stops being a liability.
