The ship refit sector continues to prove itself as a key driver of innovation within the luxury cruise industry.

In this context, the Silver Spirit, part of the Cruises fleet, is currently undergoing a significant dry dock refurbishment program between March and May 2026. The project includes the restyling of several public areas, the introduction of new experiential concepts, and upgrades to onboard spaces, all aimed at further enhancing guest comfort and immersion.

Among the areas involved, the theatre – the heart of onboard entertainment – is undergoing a complete restyle. On March 25th, Chimento Design officially started the works for the theatre refurbishment, working alongside and actively contributing to the transformation of this key venue.

This project represents not only a technical challenge, but also a valuable opportunity to showcase expertise, collaboration, and adaptability in a highly dynamic dry dock environment.

Proud to be part of this transformation journey, contributing to redefining the standards of luxury hospitality at sea.

Chimento Design a bordo di I: il nostro contributo al nuovo riferimento dell’ultra-lusso in mare.
Un nuovo capitolo dell’ultralusso in mare è stato scritto. In occasione della consegna di Four Seasons I da parte di Fincantieri presso il cantiere di Ancona, siamo orgogliosi di aver contribuito a un progetto che rappresenta un nuovo riferimento mondiale nell’hospitality di alta gamma.

Il nostro contributo al progetto
In questo contesto di altissima complessità e precisione, Chimento Design ha partecipato alla realizzazione di Four Seasons I attraverso la fornitura di arredi loose e soluzioni custom sviluppate ad hoc, lavorando in stretta collaborazione con i team tecnici e progettuali coinvolti nel progetto.

In una nave dove ogni dettaglio conta — qualità dei materiali, coerenza estetica, affidabilità produttiva e rispetto delle tempistiche — il nostro team ha operato con lo stesso livello di rigore e attenzione al dettaglio che contraddistingue ogni progetto Chimento Design fin dalla nostra fondazione nel 2010.

Dry dock concluso su MSC Splendida a La Valletta, Malta — 👏

Abbiamo terminato con successo alcune delle aree pubbliche più importanti; spazi centrali per la vita della nave, completati esattamente come previsto — con qualità, precisione competenza, ritmo e spirito di squadra . Il tutto sotto la supervisione della quality manager Sara 💪🏻

E ovviamente… non potevamo non seguire anche noi il trend della foto cartonata 🤭🎨

Inizia il refitting di Lirica – Dry Dock! ⚓️
si occuperà del restyling delle principali aree pubbliche, con un lavoro completo che va oltre la semplice sostituzione dei tessuti:
nuove sagomature, nuovi interni e un installation layout completamente aggiornato.

‼️ Rifacimento degli interni per il Dry Dock di Lirica 2025 a Trieste: il lavoro di Chimento Design 🇮🇹

Il dry dock della nave Lirica 2025 prenderà il via a Trieste dal 19 ottobre 2025, e sarà un momento fondamentale per il restyling e la manutenzione complessiva della nave. Siamo orgogliosi di annunciare che è stata scelta per occuparsi del rifacimento parziale di tutte le aree interne pubbliche, con un intervento mirato al rinnovamento delle sedute.

- Lettura tecnica del file .DWG: partiamo da disegni ricevuti dai cantieri o dagli studi di progettazione, che analizziamo in AutoCAD per interpretarli al meglio.
- Sviluppo del rendering 3D: trasformiamo la tecnica in visione, creando un’immagine realistica da presentare al cliente per condividere materiali, volumi e stile.
- Realizzazione del prodotto finale: l’arredo prende forma, personalizzato, resistente e pronto per essere installato a bordo.
