It is taken up as a part of CSR activity of GACL Education Society (GES) which is a CSR Arm of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) in association with Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC). Under this initiative, a website of Vadodara by foot (www.vadodarabyfoot.com) and user friendly mobile application is launched which will contain rich information in form of images, videos and audios a
bout several monuments of heritage importance of Vadodara City. At present, the audios regarding information of several monuments is in Gujarati language, but soon it will be extended to other languages as well viz English, Marathi and Hindi. Everyone can associate with ‘Vadodara By Foot’ initiative for sharing their ideas, literature and knowledge about various heritage sites/ monuments of Vadodara by registering on the website.
