Learnings from the Workshop:
In this workshop we’ll cover the following:
- Introduction to the charcoal - different types of charcoal and their uses, required accessories for blending and shading
-Different approaches and techniques to improve the use of tone, shading and blending with charcoal
- Demonstrations and an explanation of every step I take during a drawing
- Rendering techniques
-How to seal/preserve charcoal drawings
- Creation of a charcoal artwork

About the Artist:
Deepali Dholakia, a post- graduate in Medical Microbiology from Vadodara, Gujarat. Being raised in the Kalanagari of India, art has always been her passion since childhood. Graduation in Zoology has vested in her, a special interest and love for animals. For her, painting and sketching is a way to access meditative state of mind. It makes her imagination run wild, bringing in life the wilderness with every stroke of pencil and splash of colours.

Sunday, 28th May & 4th June 2023
9:00am to 2:00pm

The Story Writing workshop will give the 'Kahanikaars', a platform to open themselves to a creative expression through their own written story.

Each Individual will be given a freedom to write his/her own story (fiction/non-fiction) through the process taught during the workshop.

The Story writing workshop will include the following:

1. The Basic of How to write a story!
2. Structure And Process of writing.
3. How to write a character, develop it and relate it with the story.
4. Picking up a correct plot/genre and narrative for a story.
5. How to write a creative resolution with a twist.
6. How to write a brief synopsis or a review of your story.
7. Participants will be get their published book copy at their doorstep.

*About the faculty:*
Miss Zelam is a storyteller, and published author.
She has her own story blog named
She is also a theater enthusiast, a playwright, a screenwriter as well as a freelance content writer for digital & social media marketing!

She has 11 stories already published with different anthologies across India.
